Alexandra Hutchison returned from New York City to Toronto in 2018 to launch Studio Marlowe. It is her belief, that in the 21st century, true luxury must also be sustainable, that drives the studio’s innovative, creative and responsible approach.

Alexandra’s portfolio is varied and dynamic and includes conceptual design, branding and interior feasibility studies for hotel group Highgate Hotels; furniture and fixture design for the non-profit and remote Lambaye Learning Center, Senegal; custom furniture design for the to-be LEED-certified Center for Fiction in Brooklyn, NY; as well as several multi-unit residential interiors projects while working for BKSK Architects in New York City.
Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in New York City and a Bachelor’s from Ryerson, Toronto. In addition, she has studied Luxury and Boutique Hotel Design at the famed Instituto Marangoni, Milan.
